By doing this, thoughts will run their course like a spinning wheel that loses its momentum and may even come to a halt. Do not make it a goal for thoughts to come to a halt, rather, keep your attention on allowing the thoughts to come and go without ever grabbing hold of them. This will take you to no mind.
When you grab hold of thoughts you have a position, you have a fixed point of reference.
But in no mind, when you do not hold on to thoughts at all, when they can arise without you ever touching them, or when they stop on their own, then you have no position. You have no fixed point of reference.
In no mind, you do not experience yourself as anything. There can be no definition, no perspective. You cannot say you are here you cannot say you are not here. It is a freedom beyond all understanding. There is consciousness but there is no one there that can claim to be consciousness or to call it consciousness.
It is pure and silent.
And when you enter back into the mind, some of this purity and silence comes back with it
and washes through your body and mind. When you are surrendered into no mind and realize that freedom, when you come back into thinking, some of that freedom comes back with it. The energy vibration of no mind gets carried over.
And once you get used to remaining in this void of no-mind in zen meditation, you will want to keep coming back to it. You will begin to experience this energy of no mind in day to day living.

Hollywood has been trying to pinpoint the key to box office success for decades and finally we understand — Abs. Has he been relevant since Dude, Where’s My Car? When did I miss the ‘Ashton is an Oscar Caliber Actor boat? Isn’t he the guy slumming on TV with Ducky? Oh, and The Butler? Yea, Driving Miss Daisy was better with Morgan Freeman. Well, everything is better with Morgan Freeman. The Internship should have hired him.

6. Some People Hate Their Children

Yea, I said it. Sure, you take them now and again to cinematic delights like Monsters University and Despicable Me, but then some of you…the worst of you…take them to dreck like the aforementioned Turbo, Epic, Planes and f’in Smurfs 2. Seriously? This is one step below child endangerment and one more reason why China is winning. Don’t complain when they dump you in that sweat box nursing home.

Because of his impressively carved goatee? No. Because he owns a frickin’ robot and robots are infinitely cooler than some dumbass with an oval reflector dancing around in a blue leotard. Want more proof? In Pacific Rim, China is under siege by giant monsters which threaten to destroy our very existence, and what do we do? BUILD MORE ROBOTS! This is as close as I can offer to scientific evidence, but I am pretty sure it will suffice.

2. JJ Abrams Wants A Geek Genocide

JJ Abrams, the master of the lens flare, has long been an established filmmaker and creator. When the sequel to his reboot, Star Trek Into Darkness, hit theaters, geeks cried tears of joy around the world. Then some of that joy descended, ahem, into darkness. Apparently, to some, his half-remake of a sequel to his reboot caused some of those long-time Trekkers to lose their frakkin minds! They could not believe the audacity of a man trying to make everybody happy…I mean playing with their beloved series’ history. Ripoff. Hack. Die from that Vulcan death-grip thingy…these were the taunts slung at our beloved leader. And if THAT weren’t enough…that son of a Spielberg took the job directing that OTHER giant Sci-Fi master-series!!! What the Affleck?! In one summer, Abrams managed to turn share more details Trekkers on each other, and when that dust settled…he turned what was left of them on the Star Wars fans. This guy is a mad frickin’ genius. And he wants us all obliterated.

Oh, YOUR Superman would never do THAT, would he? He’d never destroy a city, leaving thousands homeless, would he? One of the almost universal phenomena that I see in people using PEMFs, regardless of PEMF system, is that people almost universally describe improvement in sleep. Because of this feedback, I felt it was important to dedicate an update to the subject.
Sleep disturbances are very common: from multiple awakenings, problems falling asleep, long waking hours during the night and/or early awakening in the morning. This is not even to take into account sleep disruptions caused by physiological urges such as needing to go to the bathroom or hot flashes. Sleep disturbances are very common in people with electrical hypersensitivity syndrome, and can even occur in people who have taken all the right steps to optimizing sleep hygiene, such as, closing the blinds, reducing all the lights in the bed room, eliminating all extraneous sounds in the bed room, etc.
Insomnia affects at least 20% of the population at some time. It is not a disease – there is no single definition of insomnia that can apply to all people. The amount of sleep that an individual requires is variable, but it is said that most adults need about 7-8 hours of sleep per night to be healthiest. On the other hand, sleep deprivation leads to a host of physiologic disturbances and stress. With recurrent or daily loss of sleep, individuals can even develop a sleep deficit that needs to be compensated for with extended sleep periodically. People who experience regular insomnia or sleepless nights have significant amounts of distress and anxiety, poor daytime performance and daytime sleepiness. Various studies have shown that poor sleep quality can have a negative influence on worker or driver safety and performance, and disruptions of sleep patterns, particularly rapid eye movement (REM) dream sleep, are associated with decreases in memory function and learning.
Unfortunately, the most commonly used medical approach to treat sleep disorders is drugs. There are many problems with these medications, not the least of which is addiction and major problems with withdrawal. So there is some public health and personal urgency to make available lower-risk approaches. This is why I have long explored the use of PEMFs to help with sleep.

Circadian rhythms are 24-25 hour cycles and are usually in sync with local day and night times. Ultradian rhythms are 90-120 minute cycles that occur both when we are awake and asleep, but usually refer to the different stages we go through during normal sleep. Ultradian rhythms occur within daily (circadian) rhythms – they occur multiple times per day.
One aspect of sleep disorders is disruption of circadian rhythms. Every living creature has circadian rhythms in their organ functions. Circadian rhythms control virtually all human functioning, primarily through the regulation of hormone production in the body. They are critical to human life. These internal rhythms usually override environmental influences in order to maintain balance in the body. Circadian rhythms include control of circulatory and metabolic functions, body temperature and brain activity.
Physiologic or functional changes are triggered by these internal biological clocks. Medical research uses physiologic functions to describe aspects of the physical changes seen in human sleep, such as: brain activity, heart rate, respiration and movement. These are called sleep parameters. Sleep parameters influenced by external or internal stimuli can affect perceived sleep quality either positively or negatively.
